Corona odds and ends (english below)
Irgendwie unwirkliche Zeiten in denen wir leben. Die Letzen zwei Jahre war eine Woche vor Füchtorf noch Stress ohne Ende angesagt. Jetzt hat man die Situation das man ein Woche vor Füchtorf konstatieren muss das die Saison wohl gar nicht stattfinden wird. Schaut man sich auf den Team-Homepages um sind die meisten wohl in einer Mischung aus Schockstarre oder amtlich verordnetem Stillstand gefangen.
Ganz ehrlich: Bei uns ist der Druck auch ein wenig raus 😉
Aber hey, wir nähern uns trotzdem unaufhaltsam den ersten Transmashtönen auf Alkohol.
Fangen wir an……
Somehow unreal times we live in. The last two years, one week before Füchtorf, there was still endless stress. Now you have the situation that you have to state a week before Füchtorf that the season will probably not take place at all. If you look around on the team homepages, most of them are probably caught in a mixture of rigid shock or officially ordered standstill.
Honestly: With us the pressure is also a little bit out 😉
But hey, we’re still inexorably approaching the first transmash-tones on alcohol.

Aus den Gussteilen ist inzwischen ein Sensorträger geworden. Wir erinnern uns: Der Motor bekommt auf jede Bank eine eigene Steuerung die voneinander gar nicht wissen das sie da sind 😉
Also brauchen wir auch je einen Kurbelwellensensor und einen Nockenwellensensor. Da ich keine Lust habe einen Magneten an die Nockenwelle zu fummeln gehts halt an den Pumpenantrieb. Der dreht sich auch mit halber Kurbelwellendrehzahl 😉
The castings have now become a sensor carrier. We remember: The engine gets its own control on each bench that does not even know that they are there 😉
So we also need a crankshaft sensor and a camshaft sensor each. Since I have no desire to fumble a magnet on the camshaft, it goes to the pump drive. It also rotates at half the crankshaft speed 😉
Ausrichten und verschweißen.
Align and weld.
Sieht doch nicht schlecht aus. Die dicke Aluscheibe bekommt eine Spezialfunktion. Da erste Tests ziemlich ernüchternd liefen möchte ich mich da aber noch nicht zu weit aus dem Fenster lehnen…..es muss noch geforscht werden…
Doesn’t look bad. The thick aluminum disc has a special function. Since the first tests were rather sobering, I don’t want to lean too far out of the window ….. research still needs to be done …

Der Insider weiß: Hier entsteht das vorgeschriebene Turbokreuz das das Turbinenrad im Gehäuse hält falls Desintegration einsetzt.
The insider knows: This is where the prescribed turbo cross is created that holds the turbine wheel in the housing if disintegration begins.
Das zweite Gussteil aus dem letzten Beitrag bekommt auch noch eine CNC Behandlung…..es ist ein Deckel…..
The second casting from the last post also gets a CNC treatment ….. it is a lid …..
…für die Spulentreibergehäuse. Glitzert es nicht schön im frühlingshaften Sonnenlicht?

Die Russen bauen ja geiles Zeug, aber hat denen noch nie einer was von O-Ringen gesagt? Überall muss Dichtmasse dran….bah…..
The Russians build cool stuff, but has no one ever told them about O-rings? Everywhere sealant must be smeared on …. bah …..

Von einem Murx zum nächsten…. die Drosselklappen müssen auch nochmal überarbeitet werden. Mit diesen golden eloxierten Rädchen kann ich nichts anfangen….
From one botch to the next …. the throttle valves also have to be revised again. I can’t do anything with these golden anodized wheels …
Also muss Alu auf die Fräse….
So aluminum has to be on the mill ….
Etwas massiver.

Damit laufen die Teile auch synchron.
The parts now run synchronously.
Andere Seite der Drosselklappen, selbes Problem. Es ist Zeugs verbaut mit dem ich nichts anfangen kann.
Other side of the throttle valve, same problem. There is stuff installed that I can’t do anything with.

…mit Alu versteht sich. Passt. Der Witz ist, dass ich die Drosselklappenpotis für die eigentliche Funktion gar nicht brauche. Damit der Motor läuft reichen zwei Sensoren: MAP und Kurbelwellenposition. Mit der Drosselklappenstellung kann man aber schöne Spielereien anstellen. 😉
… with aluminum. It fits. The joke is that I don’t need the throttle pots for the actual function. Two sensors are sufficient for the engine to run: MAP and crankshaft position. With the throttle valve position you can make nice gimmicks. 😉
So nebenbei enstehen immer mal wieder ein paar Teile. Hier sind es neue Kolben für die PopOff´s. Das Serienzeug ist einfach nicht für den Wahnsinn gemacht den wir betreiben 😉
By the way, there are always a few parts done. Here are new pistons for the PopOffs. The serial stuff is just not made for the madness that we do 😉
Wenn man nur lange genug sucht… Auch für Transmashmotoren gibt es passende Totpunktfinder zu kaufen…..
If you only search long enough … Also for Transmash-engines there are matching dead center finding tools to buy …..
Heute kamen dann noch ein paar geile Laserteile. Ein bisschen Kanten und schweißen und schon werden da die Gefängnisse für die Motorsteuerung draus.
Then came some horny laser parts today. A little bit of edging and welding and the prisons for the engine control are there.
Zum Schluss noch ein paar bunte Kabel. Der Stefan hatte da wieder mal so eine Idee. Wenn Das klappt (und da gehe ich von aus) wird Das ziemlich geil. Was „Das“ ist? Wer wird denn neugierig sein? 😉
Wenn die Grenzen nach Polen offen bleiben haben wir zum nächsten Beitrag auch schon ein neues Spielzeug. Keine Pullingsaison 2020? Wäre doch gelacht wenn wir den Motor nicht auch so kaputt bekommen würden 😉

If the borders to Poland remain open, we will have a new toy for the next post. No pulling season 2020? Would be laughed if we didn’t neverless get the engine broken 😉
