Moin Freunde des Pullingsports! Fangen wir heute mal mit einer sehr geilen Nachricht an. Eine Truppe um Sascha Mecking hat sich was einfallen lassen wie man den deutschen Pullingsport nicht nur bekannter machen, sondern auch die Fans mit Infos aus der Szene versorgen kann.
Hello friends of pulling sports! Let’s start today with a very cool message. A team around Sascha Mecking came up with an idea how to not only make the German sport of pulling better known, but also how to provide the fans with information from the scene.
Geplant ist mit „Floating Finish“ eine wöchentliche Webshow die auch als Podcast zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Moderiert wird die Sendung von Jannis Borchers, einem echten Insider. Es erwarten euch spannende Themen rund um unseren Sport, es wird auf kommende und vergangene Veranstaltungen geblickt und in die Werkstätten geschaut was dort bei den Teams so passiert. Klickt schon mal auf das obige Bild, abonniert den Kanal, bimmelt die Glocke und teilt das ganze mit so vielen Leuten wie nur irgendwie möglich.

Aber auch bei uns geht´s weiter. Ich möchte nicht sagen das mich die Verdichterdeckel ärgern, aber eine Herausforderung sind sie in jedem Fall *grml*

That’s why they’re called tilt casting machines…because you can tilt them…..exciting. But what is Alex doing there?
Da wir jetzt dort eingießen wo früher der Sandkern festgehalten wurde, müssen wir dafür sorgen das der Kern im flüssigen Alu nicht aufschwimmt. Also Röhrchen rein und mit einem Distanzmanipulator festgehalten 😉
Since we are now pouring where the sand core used to be held, we have to make sure that the core does not float in the liquid aluminum. So put the tubes in and hold them with a distance manipulator 😉

Aber so ganz grundsätzlich scheint das zu funktionieren….
But basically it seems to work…
Es kommen sogar brauchbare Teile dabei rum.
There are even usable parts coming from the mould.
Und der Schrott kann immer noch zersägt werden um zu schauen ob die Materialanhäufungen jetzt Lunkerfrei sind……sind sie. 😉
And the scrap can still be sawed up to see if the material piles are now free of contraction cavity……they are. 😉
Ich denke hier stehen Lader für um die 8.000 bis 10.000 PS 😉
I think there are turbos for around 8,000 to 10,000 hp 😉
Und auch von den Sandkernen selbst gibt es positive Nachrichten. Die sehen jetzt aus wie gemalt. Geil!
And there is also positive news from the sand cores themselves. Now they look like they were painted. Cool!
Kommen wir zur Achse…..

Sieht sie nicht schön aus? Nur hat Stefan einen kleinen Fehler gemacht…..

…und ein Teil bei der Bestellung der Laserzuschnitte vergessen. 😉 Also machen wir mal wieder mit Papier und der Flex rum…..

Man muss es einfach immer wieder mal sagen: Schweißen kann Alex!
You just have to say it again and again: Alex can weld very well!
Man beachte die ordentlich dimensionierte Öleinfüllöffnung. Vorbei die Zeiten als die Achse durch ein 10mm Loch gefüllt werden musste! Damit ist der Achskörper bald auch fertig.
Note the properly dimensioned oil filler opening. Gone are the days when the axle had to be filled through a 10mm hole! The axle body will soon be finished.
Die Montagebleche haben schon mal am Rahmen Platz genommen.
The mounting plates have already taken their place on the frame.
Wenn Alex schon mal im Flow ist was das Schweißen angeht…..
If Alex is already in the flow when it comes to welding…..
….. kann er auch gleich den Stummel in das Achsrohr vom großen Trecker einschweißen.
….. he can also weld the stub into the axle tube of the big tractor.
Soll ich euch was sagen? Bis auf wirklichen Kleinkram ist der große Trecker damit fertig für 2023!!!
Shall I tell you something? Except for the real small stuff, the big tractor is ready for 2023!!!
Damit auch der kleine Tractor fertig wird, muss noch die Scheiß OBX Pumpe rausgeschmissen werden. Ein klassischer Fall von „Kaufst du billig, kaufst du zweimal“.
In order for the little tractor to finish, the damn OBX pump has to be thrown out. A classic case of „buy cheap, buy twice“.
Selbst der Farbkontrast ist besser 😉

Getting closer and closer….
Da wir im letzten Lauf festgestellt haben, dass wir zum Ende des Pulls wohl Luft gezogen haben, steht die Vermutung im Raume das unser Tank zu klein ist. Ich glaube wir verlängern ihn ein wenig und machen noch einen Liter mehr rein 😉
Since we noticed in the last run that we probably drew air at the end of the pull, the assumption is that our tank is too small. I think we’ll lengthen it a bit and add another liter 😉
Ein letztes Bild um aus dem Beitrag raus zu kommen: Die Steckachsen fertig zur Wärmebehandlung. Eventuell sind sie gerade jetzt wo ich diese Zeilen schreibe im Ofen.
