Ist das nicht cool? Endlich mal wieder eine Veranstaltung in Sicht! Füchtorf 2023 nähert sich mit Riesen Schritten! Mit einem Klick aufs Bild bekommt Ihr alle Informationen. Wir werden mit dem kleinen Schluckspecht Samstag Nachmittag oder dem frühen Abend fahren. Für Gardenpulling ziemlich ungewöhnlich, aber das wird bestimmt cool! Mit dem großen Schluckspechtzeraptor werden wir Sonntag Mittag an den Bremswagen gehen.
Isn’t that cool? Finally an event in sight! Füchtorf 2023 is approaching with giant strides! With a click on the picture you get all information. We will be driving the little Schluckspecht Saturday afternoon or early evening. Pretty unusual for garden pulling, but this is sure to be cool! With the big Schluckspechtzeraptor we will go in front of the sledge on Sunday noon.
Aber wir haben ja noch ein paar Sachen zu tuen. Fangen wir mal mit einem total vergriesgnaddelten „Impeller“ zur Entgasung von Aluminiumschmelzen an.
But we still have a few things to do. Let’s start with a totally fucked up „impeller“ for degassing molten aluminum.
Das T-Stück (Hydraulik Schneidring Verschraubung) hat auch schon mal bessere Tage gesehen…..

…und auch die Aufnahme für den Akkuschrauber ist nur so mittel cool.

Der Schaft und der Rotor bestehen jetzt zu 100% aus Graphit. Beim Design hab ich mich mal so grob an die großen Impeller gehalten…nur kleiner…versteht sich 😉 😉
The shaft and rotor are now 100% graphite. When it came to the design, I roughly stuck to the big impellers… only smaller… of course 😉 😉
Die Temperaturen lassen das Graphit total kalt…..*rofl*

Der Effekt auch einer nur kurzen Impellerbehandlung ist verblüffend. Die Entgasung kann man nicht sehen, wohl aber die nach oben geschwemmten Verunreinigungen.
The effect of even a short impeller treatment is amazing. You cannot see the degassing, but you can see the impurities that have been washed up.
Unter Zuhilfenahme der neuen Schmelzebehandlungsgerätschaften, sind dann direkt noch mal Verdichterdeckel entstanden. Keine Angst, Video wurde gedreht und sollte kürzlich online gehen….was auch immer kürzlich heißt 😉 😉
With the help of the new melt treatment equipment, compressor covers were created again directly. Don’t worry, video was shot and should be online recently….whatever recently means 😉 😉
Auch die Wärmebehandlung hat augenscheinlich gut geklappt! Ofen voll 😉

Achja, ich hatte euch ja noch versprochen auch die alte Achse zu wiegen….
Oh yes, I promised you that I would also weigh the old axle….
Zur Erinnerung: Die neue Achse in der selben Fertigungsstufe hatte ganze 1,2kg weniger(!). Die Außenplaneten sind auch noch mal ein wenig leichter geworden. Sprich wir haben mit einer (mutmaßlich) stabileren Achse auch noch Gewicht gespart. Irre. OK, in die neue Achse geht ein halbe Liter Öl mehr rein…. 😉
As a reminder: The new axle in the same production stage had a whole 1.2kg less(!). The outer planets have also become a little lighter. In other words, we also saved weight with a (presumably) more stable axle. Crazy. OK, half a liter more oil goes into the new axle…. 😉

Zeit für einen Testlauf! Und auch wenn ich hier kein Video präsentieren kann: Vertraut mir, er läuft! Keine Probleme aufgetaucht!

Damit kann es auch am großen Schluckspechtzeraptor weiter gehen. Der neue Rücklauf Ölfilter fehlt noch.

Diesmal bauen wir ihn zweistufig auf. Das erste Siebdeck hält die Brocken größer also 0,3mm zurück, das zweite alles was größer als 0,15mm ist. Aber keine Angst, wir klassieren nicht unseren Motortod, sondern entlasten einfach das feinere Sieb. Der Transmash neigt zum Auswurf von feinen Aluflakes die sonst sofort alles zu setzen.
This time we build it in two stages. The first screen deck holds back the chunks larger than 0,3mm, the second everything larger than 0,15mm. But don’t worry, we don’t classify our engine death, but simply relieve the finer sieve. The Transmash tends to eject fine aluminum flakes that would otherwise set everything immediately.
Am Zeraptor hat Simon auch die Reifen nachgeschliffen. Damit dürften wir alles an Grip raus holen was mit den alten 8 Ply noch so geht 😉
Simon also reground the tires on the Zeraptor. With this we should get all the grip that is still possible with the old 8 ply 😉
Damit war es am heutigen Tage auch für den großen Trecker soweit: Testlauf. Auch hier: Nur kleine Probleme. Hauptsächlich Fehlercode 37…zwischen den Ohren. Irgendwie ist mir das unheimlich. So früh vor Füchtorf waren wir noch nie fertig. Ich ahne das da noch irgend eine Katastrophe auf uns wartet….
So today was the day for the big tractor: Test run. Again: Only small problems. Mostly error code 37…between the ears. It’s kind of creepy to me. We’ve never finished so early before Füchtorf. I suspect that there is still some catastrophe waiting for us….

Damit endet dieser Beitrag auch schon. Wir freuen uns riesig auf Füchtorf, haben bis dahin aber noch ne Menge zu tuen. Ich möchte noch einige Arbeit in eine neue Kampagne zum Einstieg in den Pullingsport stecken. Das wird zwar noch ziemlich aufwändig, aber ich denke auch ziemlich cool… In dem Sinne: Bleibt dran!
With that, this post ends. We’re really looking forward to Füchtorf, but we still have a lot to do before then. I still want to put some work into a new campaign to get people into the sport of pulling. It’s going to be quite time-consuming, but I think it’s also pretty cool… In that sense: stay tuned!
