Wir sind froh ein neues Video präsentieren zu können! Diesmal mit einem kleinen Rückblick auf Füchtorf. Es wird technisch…..

Der Alltag hat uns wieder…also zumindest ein bisschen. 😉
In Anholt hätten wir letztes Wochenende mit dem kleinen Fahren können, aber da Alex im wohlverdienten Urlaub ist hätte das eh nicht geklappt. Von daher können wir die Dinge etwas ruhiger angehen.

Inzwischen sind auch die Videos von Mr.Jo online. Da könnt Ihr unsere Läufe noch mal in Ruhe und aus anderer Perspektive sehen.

Da ich mich kenne und mir das Chaos in der Werkstatt schon seit längerer Zeit gefährlich auf den Zünder ging, habe ich mich erstmal dazu gezwungen aufzuräumen. Also so richtig. In der halben Firma waren Pullingteile verstreut…viel Kleinkram (Dichtungen, Normteile etc.) wurden doppelt bestellt weil ich sie nicht wieder gefunden habe und nur so ein Mist.

Everyday life has us back… well, at least a little bit. 😉
We could have driven the little one in Anholt last weekend, but since Alex is on his well-deserved vacation, that wouldn’t have worked out anyway. So we can take things a little easier.

Mr.Jo’s videos are now online as well. There you can see our runs again in peace and from a different perspective.

Since I know myself and the chaos in the workshop has been getting on my nerves for a long time, I forced myself to clean up first. So right. Pulling parts were scattered around half the company…a lot of small stuff (seals, standard parts, etc.) were ordered twice because I couldn’t find them again and just crap like this.

Soooo….jetzt kann man hier auch mal wieder sowas wie arbeiten. Die Werkbank ist noch nicht perfekt eingerichtet aber das werden wir auch noch hinbekommen.

Soooo….now you can do something like work here again. The workbench isn’t set up perfectly yet, but we’ll get there.

Natürlich haben wir den ganzen Krempel nicht irgendwo in die Ecke geschmissen (Das haben wir die letzten 4 Jahre so gemacht 😉 😉 ), sondern alles sortiert und feinsäuberlich beschriftet eingelagert. Auch die ganzen Spezialwerkzeuge wurden gescheit verstaut. Mal sehen wie lange es so bleibt 😉

Of course, we didn’t throw all that stuff in the corner somewhere (we’ve done it like this for the last 4 years 😉 😉 ), but sorted everything and stored it neatly labeled. All the special tools were also cleverly stowed away. Let’s see how long it stays like this 😉

Ok, ein bisschen was anderes als Aufräumen haben wir schon gemacht. Zum Beispiel musste das Öl und der Sprit von beiden Treckern runter. Hier kommt mal wieder feinste chinesische Ingenieurskunst zum Einsatz.

Das ganze ist ein Test- und Reinigungsgerät für Einspritzdüsen…..

Ok….ich habe das Dingen ganz stumpf mit Wasser und etwas Maschinenreiniger befüllt. Macht sicher die Düsen ziemlich sauber, führt aber auch dazu das der Schaum überall aus dem Gerät quillt. 😉 😉

Anschließend die Düsen noch trocken pusten und mit etwas Leichtöl konservieren….fertig.

Ok….I filled the things very bluntly with water and some machine cleaner. Certainly makes the nozzles pretty clean, but also causes the foam to swell out of the device everywhere. 😉 😉

Then blow the nozzles dry and preserve them with a little light oil….done.

Zwei Dinge werden am kleinen Schluckspecht auf alle Fälle geändert. Der Anlasser bekommt einen neuen Motor. Den hat das Hochwasser nachhaltig gekillt. Wer in Füchtorf zugegen war, konnte wunderbar beobachten wie wir den kleinen Schluckspecht anbekommen haben…nämlich ganz beschissen. *grml*

Aus genau diesem Grunde wird auch noch eine kleine elektrische Spritpumpe verbaut. Damit setzen wir -wie beim großen auch- das Spritsystem unter Druck und unterstützen die schrecklich undichte mechanische Pumpe bei geringen Leerlaufdrehzahlen. Dann entfällt auch dieses dämliche Sprühreiniger in den Turbo gespritze…

So, lange genug gewartet…es geht an die Schadensanalyse im Reverser.

Die Spannung steigt.

Tension is rising.

Das ist wohl mal eindeutig. Die Schaltgabel ist aus Werkzeugstahl gefräst und trotzdem gebrochen als wäre sie aus Bakelit. Auch die Anlauffarben der Gabel lassen nur einen Schluss zu: Wir haben viel zuviel Axialkraft auf der Schaltmuffe.

That’s a clear diagnosis. The shift fork is milled from tool steel and still broken as if it were made of bakelite. The tarnish colors of the fork also only allow one conclusion: We have far too much axial force on the shift sleeve.

Aber warum ist das so? Nunja, die Schaltmuffe ist im Grunde einfach ein Teil aus einem amerikanischen LKW Getriebe. Eaton Fuller. Um das Schalten einfacher zu machen wurden vor geraumer Zeit die Zahnspitzen angespitzt und ausgerundet. Tja, zusammen mit der Geometrie der Schaltgabel tragen die Zähne jetzt einfach auf einer zu kurzen Länge. Und diese kurzen Zähne sind auch noch angeschliffen. Das kann nicht gut gehen.

Naja, da das Teil millionenfach auf der ganzen Welt unterwegs ist, bekommt man die Ersatzteile sehr einfach und günstig. Sobald die neue Muffe dann da ist, wird entschieden ob wir auf der Basis weiter machen oder wir eine eigene Muffe fertigen.

In den nächsten Tagen wird wohl das nächste YouTube Video von uns kommen. Bin ja nach der langen Pause fast ein wenig eingerostet. 😉 😉
