Shine in cloudy times (english below)
Realistischerweise muss man wohl annehmen, dass die Pullingsaison vorbei ist bevor sie überhaupt losgegangen ist. Um so erfreulicher wäre es wenn zum Ende des Jahres doch noch was gehen würde….ich glaub nicht dran. Es darf geweint werden!
Soooo, genug geweint. Hier geht es jetzt zur Aufheiterung mit einer ersten Spielerei an der neuen Poliermaschine weiter.
Realistically, you have to assume that the pulling season is over before it even started. It would be all the more gratifying if something would still work at the end of the year … I don’t believe in it. We can cry!

Nachdem meine vergangenen Bemühungen Aluminium zum Glänzen zu bringen kläglich -mitunter auch wutentbrannt 😉 – gescheitert sind, ist das doch mal richtig geil! Zum Vergleich der Ausgangszustand. Wenn jetzt noch die richtigen Vorpolierscheiben ankommen, sind auch noch die kleinen Kratzer Geschichte. Das geht so geil das ich direkt eine nicht jugendfreie Sache machen könnte die mit einer milichig, cremigen Flüssigkeit endet……

Nach einigen sinnreichen Bearbeitungsschritten wird aus dem Pumpenantrieb die Aufnahme für das Triggerrad.

Achja, da waren ja noch rostige Klötze auf der Fräse. Die haben sich in der Zwischenzeit in eine ziemlich grobschlächtige Hauruck-Gussform verwandelt.

Eine Form für einen Deckel lag da auch noch rum. Also alles heiß machen….

Bei der Montage der Abgaskrümmer geht es „etwas“ eng zu.
When installing the exhaust manifold, it is „a little“ tight.
Voila! Das Dingen heißt übrigens Starterblockschlüssel.

Damit wäre der zweite Kopf auch schon wieder drauf. Erstmal nur provisorisch damit Alex an die Abgasrohre gehen kann.

Die Einspritzventile -genauer die Spulen- sind nun auch montagefertig. Da ist nicht ein Fitzel Plastik dran. Die Kabel sind hochtemperaturfest. Damit kann der Karren auch mal ne Zeit lang brennen ohne das gleich alles neu gemacht werden muss 😉 😉
Mit diesen schönen Bildern verabschiede ich mich in einen (wettertechnisch) sehr schönen Sonntag. Solange man noch grillen darf sind die Coronaeinschränkungen halbwegs erträglich 😉 😉

The injectors – more precisely the coils – are now ready for assembly. There’s not a bit of plastic on it. The cables are resistant to high temperatures. So the cart can burn for a while without having to do everything again 😉 😉
With these beautiful pictures I say goodbye to a (weather-related) very nice Sunday. As long as you can still BBQ, the corona restrictions are reasonably tolerable 😉 😉
