It´s becoming a tractor (english below)
Bevor wir nun richtig in den Beitrag starten, möchte ich euch erstmal auf eine neue Serie von Floating Finish aufmerksam machen. In der pullingfreien Zeit hat sich Tommy mit Kamerateam auf den Weg gemacht und einige Pullingteams besucht. Die Folgen gehen nach und nach Online. Before we really start the article, I would like to draw your attention to a new series from Floating Finish. During the pulling-free time, Tommy set out with a camera team and visited some pulling teams. The episodes are gradually going online. Das mich das Dingen Wahnsinnig macht, hatten wir schon ausgiebig besprochen. Aber ich kann auch anders. Operation schnelle Lösung.

Der ganze Lagersitz ist mal eben fix 3mm nach hinten gewandert. Olles Mistdingen.

Das Tragbild ist….vorsichtig gesagt…Mist. Aber zum einen werden wir da wohl nicht direkt unendlich viel Leistung drüber schicken, zum anderen hoffe ich ja, dass die Übersetzung eh ein bisschen langsam ist und somit alsbald wieder rausfliegt.
The contact pattern is…to put it cautiously…crap. But on the one hand, we probably won’t be sending an infinite amount of power through it, and on the other hand, I hope that the translation is a bit slow anyway and will be thrown out again soon.
Damit kann der ganze Klumpen inklusive Reverser dann auch wieder zusammen gebaut werden.
This means that the whole lump, including the reverser, can then be put back together again.
Das Differential hat mich so sehr „verstimmt“, dass ich bereits auf der Suche nach Alternativen, respektive Unterlagen über Achsen bin.
The differential has „out of tune“ me so much that I’m already looking for alternatives or documents about axles.
Dazu passend kam ein ganzer Schwung Bauteile für Mercedes Außenplaneten an. Da für diesen ganzen Krempel aber aktuell keine Zeit ist, kommt das alles erstmal schön auf´s Lager.
In addition, a whole batch of components for Mercedes outer planets arrived. Since there’s no time for all this clutter at the moment, it’s all put in storage for now.
Machen wir was sinnvolles. Vor vielen Monden haben wir begonnen die Zusatzschmierbohrungen zu bohren.
Let’s do something useful. Many moons ago we started drilling the additional lubrication holes.
Beim letzten Loch hat man das Problem, dass man in die Stehbolzen der Kupplungsglocke bzw. die Bohrungen für diese kommt. Nicht gut.
The problem with the last hole is that you get into the stud bolts of the clutch bell or the holes for it. Not good.
Die Lösung war dann wieder mal simpel wie gut. Die „Problemzone“ wurde mit einem kurzen eingepressten und verklebten Röhrchen überbrückt.
The solution was once again as simple as it was good. The “problem zone” was bridged with a short tube that was pressed in and glued together.
Die erste Verschraubung sitzt schon mal.
The first screw connection is already in place.
Die Kurven in der Ölleitung dienen dem Ausgleich von unterschiedlichen Wärmedehnungen.
The curves in the oil line serve to compensate for different thermal expansions.
Damit werde ich sicherlich nicht Innungsmeister des Installateurhandwerks….aber es reicht aus 😉
This certainly won’t make me a guild master of the plumbing trade…but it’s enough 😉
Da mit Schneidringverschraubungen an der Stelle nicht ganz geheuer sind, haben wir wie auch schon beim ersten Trecker verschweißt.
Since we’re not comfortable with cutting ring screw connections at this point, we welded them like we did with the first tractor.
„Nur“ noch die Unterseite schweißen und „nur“ noch eine Dichtigkeitsprüfung machen. Ganz toll. Trotz sorgfältiger Entzinkung der Schweißstelle, sind die Nähte porös und undicht. Ich hätte platzen können. Aber Alex hat die Baustelle dann freiwillig übernommen bevor der Kram in die Tonne gewandert wäre. 😉
“Just” weld the underside and “just” do a leak test. Really great. Despite careful dezincification of the weld, the seams are porous and leaky. I could have burst. But Alex then voluntarily took over the construction site before the stuff went into the bin. 😉
Wichtig ist bei der Bohrerei im Block, dass man genau schaut ob man diese lustigen Entlüftungslöcher für Gewinde trifft.
When drilling in the block, it is important to look closely to see if you hit these funny vent holes for threads.
Ich meine das bekommt man mit einem Schweißpunkt geregelt, aber da ohne geht da der ganze Öldruck flöten.
I think you can control this with a welding point, but without it all the oil pressure goes down.
Erinnert Ihr euch an den letzten Beitrag über die ganz fix verschlossene Ölbohrung? Da das Eingestehen von Fehlern von Größe zeugt, werde ich jetzt ganz groß 😉 😉

Ich hatte ganz übersehen das die Bohrung noch eine andere, aktive Schmierstelle versorgt. Deswegen ist aus der Verschlussschraube ganz einfach eine Art Hohlschraube geworden. Jetzt ist auch die Stelle mit Öl versorgt.
I had completely overlooked the fact that the bore supplies another, active lubrication point. That’s why the locking screw has simply become a kind of hollow screw. Now the area is also supplied with oil.

…werden sie direkt für die Schmierungsbohrung angebohrt.

Da einige Bohrungen etwas verlaufen sind, wurden diese direkt in die Mitte korrigiert. Also zumindest der Weg fürs Öl 😉
Since some of the holes ran a bit, they were corrected directly in the middle. So at least the way for oil 😉
Die Bohrungen in den Lagerschalen werden nicht nur entgratet, sondern auch mit einer leichten Anlaufstrecke fürs Öl versehen. Irgend wofür muss der Dreikantschaber im Werkzeugwagen ja gut sein. 😉
The holes in the bearing shells are not only deburred, but also provided with a slight run-on section for the oil. The triangular scraper in the tool cart has to be good for something. 😉
So cool die Industrievariante des Transmash (Wola-Transmash) auch ist, dort wo der Anlasser sitzt, ist kein Platz für eine vernünftige Anschraubung.
As cool as the industrial version of the Transmash (Wola-Transmash) is, there is no room for a proper screw connection where the starter is located.
Zwei zurecht geschliffene Klötze Aluminium….

…und ein Aluminiumschweißgerät schaffen die Grundlage für eine vernünftige Befestigung.

Und wieder einmal zahlt sich der Dreh-Wende-Motoständer mehr als aus. Ganz Ehrlich…ohne so ein Teil braucht man mit Pulling auch gar nicht anfangen. 😉
And once again the turn-movearound engine stand more than pays off. Honestly… without something like this you don’t even need to start pulling. 😉
Fix die Löcher anzeichnen, bohren und sobald die Klötzchen und die Schweißnähte etwas verschliffen sind, sieht das fast aus wie Serienzustand.
Mark the holes quickly, drill them and as soon as the blocks and the weld seams have been sanded down a bit, it looks almost like stock condition.
Die Sonne mag täuschen, es ist morgens und affenkalt. Simon kann das nicht erschüttern. Erstmal den Hochdruckreiniger anschmeißen und bis auf die Knochen nass werden. 😉 😉

Tja, auf der Achse scheint ein Fluch zu liegen. Irgendwer hat es mit den Aussparungen zur Gewichtsreduktion so gut gemeint, dass wir jetzt ein Loch im Achskörper haben….Boah…was geht mir das Dingen auf die Nüsse….
Well, there seems to be a curse on the axle. Someone meant so well with the recesses to reduce weight that we now have a hole in the axle body… Wow… how bothersome is this thing…
Klar..kann man alles in Ordnung bringen. Nur wieder sind 45 Minuten vollkommen sinnlos weg. Manchmal wird man über solche Dinge einfach müde….

Tja, irgendwann hat auch diese Teil verloren, ist abgeklebt und letztlich im Pulverofen verschwunden. 😉

Gleiches gilt für die beiden Rahmenteile. Und wieder einmal wird klar, dass unsere Anlagentechnik für diese Dimensionen einfach eine Nummer zu klein ist 😉

Wir bleiben unserem Farbschema treu. Und so wird der Käfig in RAL 3000 gepulvert.

Hatte ich schon gesagt, dass unsere Anlagentechnik zu klein ist? Und so mussten wir außerhalb der Kabine Pulvern und eine riesen Sauerei veranstalten. Ob sich Alex so freut weil er hofft das Simon den Mist weg macht? Man weiß es nicht 😉 😉

Die beiden Teile sind zu unserer Zufriedenheit lackiert….

…was man leider von den Rahmenteilen nicht im vollen Umfang sagen konnte. Stellenweise sah man die recht raue Oberfläche vom Strahlen noch durch und einige Dellen von zugeschweißten Löchern waren auch noch zu sehen.
…which unfortunately couldn’t be said in full about the frame parts. In places you could still see through the rough surface from the blasting and some dents from welded holes were still visible.
Also schleifen, spachteln, abermals schleifen und dann nochmal pulverbeschichten. Wenn wir das jetzt einmal machen, dann auch richtig.
So sand, fill, sand again and then powder coat again. If we do this now, we’ll do it right.
In der Zwischenzeit ist auch die Ölwanne wieder mit Saugleitungen, Schwallblechen und der Ölpumpe komplettiert worden.
In the meantime, the oil pan has also been completed again with suction lines, baffles and the oil pump.
Alex kümmert sich derweil um den Öl- und Sprittank.

Die Ventildeckel sind auch in ihrem Farbkleid angekommen.

Maskierklebeband entfernen und die Oberteile der Zündkerzenschächte einsetzen…..

…Schaltkisten vorbereiten….

…und langsam kommt alles wie geplant zusammen.
