Mit Hochdruck, oder besser: Wie es die Zeit zulässt, geht es an beiden Treckern weiter.
An beiden? Richtig, der kleine braucht ja noch ne Wartung und die jährliche Kupplungsabnahme steht ja auch an. Was muss man für ne Kupplungsabnahme machen? Richtig, die Kupplung abnehmen *rofl*

At both? Right, the little one still needs maintenance and the annual clutch inspection is due. Sorry, German word joke doesn´t work on english. 😉
So hat auch der kleine Schluckspecht seine Parkposition wieder eingenommen.
So the little Schluckspecht has returned to its parking position.
Auch wenn es eigentlich zutiefst widerstrebt ein funktionierendes System auseinander zu bauen: Es muss sein.
Even if it is actually deeply reluctant to disassemble a functioning system: It has to be done.

In dem Zuge kommt man auch gut an den Ölfilter. Wollen wir doch mal sehen was man darin findet…

Gott sei Dank nicht wirklich viel. Etwas abgeblätterte Ölkohle und hier und da mal ein Metallflake. Das schiebe ich aber noch auf den Schaden von Anholt. In den hinterletzten Ecken wird sich noch der ein oder andere Span versteckt haben 😉

Thank God not really much. Slightly flaked oil coal and a metal flake here and there. I blame that on Anholt’s damage. One or the other flake will have been hidden in the last Corners 😉

Auch der große Trecker hat natürlich eine Kupplung. Die muss auch abgenommen werden um abgenommen zu werden 😉

Zwei Floater Disks hat es irgendwie zerrissen. Gut das Lobbes so ein reichhaltiges Ersatzteilpaket mitgeliefert haben, da waren noch flammneue Scheiben drin. 😉
Die gute Nachricht: Beide Kupplungen haben die Abnahme bestanden und dürfen 2020 gefahren werden.
It somehow tore two floater disks. Well that Lobbes supplied such a rich spare parts package, there were still brand new disks in it. 😉
The good news: Both clutches have passed the safety check and may be driven in 2020.

Im letzten Beitrag hatte der Stefan so eine Idee für die Ansaugflansche. Das ist nämlich Murx so wie es ist.

Do not worry, we do not make the flanges out of steel … this is just a test piece to check the hole pattern. Fits …
Aus diesem Probestück, etwas Altmetall und ein paar Schweißpunkten hier und da ist dann noch direkt eine Schweißvorrichtung entstanden.
From this test piece, some scrap metal and a few welding spots here and there, a welding jig was created directly.

…und weg mit dem Schrott. Die Teile werden natürlich nicht weg geschmissen…das gibt Kilos im Ofen 😉 😉

Vor dem Schweißen kommt die Säuberung. In den Rohren war mehr Kohlenstoff als in so manchem Bergwerk. Da musste schon die Sandstrahlkabine helfen 😉
Die Durchbläser der Zylinderkopfdichtung haben auf der Außenseite der Rohre ihre Spuren hinterlassen. Da wurde unter Hochdruck ein Konglomerat aus geschmolzenem Alu, Ruß und Diesel aufgesputtert. *rofl*
Achja, WAS überhaupt schweißen?
The cleaning comes before welding. There was more carbon in the pipes than in some mines. The sandblasting cabin had to help 😉
The past damages in the cylinder head gasket have left their mark on the outside of the pipes too. A conglomerate of molten aluminum, soot and diesel was sputtered on under high pressure. * rofl *

Ihr seht es schon: Die Abdichtung wird in Zukunft über einen O-Ring gemacht. Damit ist die Dichtwirkung unabhängig von der Vorspannung. Könnte funktionieren…
